The Power Within 

When there is darkness all around
And sluggishness creeps in without a sound
When all you feel is but despair
Weary feet can no more dare

When Hope is shattered 
And confidence is on clutches
Amidst the storm,
When in vain your heart searches


No one to look upon
No one to rely
No one to lend a shoulder
On which you silently cry

Faith is your friend, My friend:
Faith in thy self
Faith in thy self
Its faith that will sail you till the end

Trust yourself that you can
And for sure, you surely will
Stand up as a mountain
As hard as the rock
 Challenge the challenge
But do not plan an avenge

Let Faith be your armor
Let Faith be your weapon
With Faith by your stride
There isn’t a place for vengeance

For revenge is like wild justice
And wildness is not humane
Drive yourself with courage
Let Benevolence be your crane

With negativity even if you win the race
It’s The Devil who will always hold the reins
And A Devil can only give pain
Which makes you a loser again

So when things go wrong 
And you aren’t able to drag along

Bridle the horse of life 
With the strength of The Divine
And trust me My Friend,
Everything will forever become fine.

IT’S A MOMENT 

              
I often don’t know what to write
I hardly know how to write
but i love to write
n i write straight from my heart


Can’t write about what i am not feeling for,
just to write;
coz then I am not a part.
So when I write
I simply create 
As if I was painting an art 

More than how n what
It’s important to start

When the heart wants to say
It spontaneously finds its way
As naturally as a sun’s ray
As impulsively as children play

Styles may be untold
Meters may not be known
But in every soul
The seeds to write 
Are already sown

All it needs is a moment
When something touches there
Deep, very deep, within;
And you can no more hold
That’s the point
When the writer will unfold!!

STRESS : Trend Of Modern Life

Stress is the trend of the modern way of life. We live in a stressful society. From youngsters to the elderlies, from simple office goers to great business tycoons, married or unmarried, working or not working, there is no one who is spared from the stress of stress. Even little children have stress.


Let us try and understand what exactly stress is. Stress is originally a term used in Engineering and Physics which means force exerted on an object. A pioneer on stress research, Dr. Hans Selye (1907-1982) of the University of Montreal in Canada, was the first one to use the word in medical terms, in his article in the year 1935. The term ‘Stress’ was used for the tension produced within a person when he was under the effect of any stimulus and the stimulus was called ‘stressor’. Today stress refers to both the stimulus or origin of tension and the reaction to it.
The stress we are talking about is actually a state of mind, a person experiences when he is unable to handle the situations and pressures around him.  Thus stress is a relative term. Under similar circumstances not only the degree of stress experienced by two different people may vary greatly but also the effects it produces might fall in a broad spectrum. 
Though the presence of stress cannot be tested positively in any part of the body, the body positively manifests the effect of stress and this effect for sure is not on the positive side. We must not forget that the body and the mind are inextricably bound. 
We all know very well that stress is a major causative factor for gastro intestinal diseases, ulcers, migraines, depression, cardiac problems and so many more.
But not many of us may be aware that when the state of stress persists for a prolonged duration, large amounts of adrenocortical hormones (steroid hormones secreted by adrenal cortex) are produced. At the same time, the number of natural killer cells (NK cells), a subset of large glandular lymphocytes (a kind of WBC), in circulation decreases; the immunity system thus gets depressed. Since the NK cells fight against cancer, stress creates a condition which increases the susceptibility to the disease.
Sounds scary!! Isn’t it?
 Because, BP: ‘Oh! Every second person has a BP problem!’ Hypertension: ‘That’s Okie, ‘coz who doesn’t have tensions? ’ Even children have white hair!! An ulcer: ‘Uh! I can handle it!’
 But Cancer! NOOO!!!! Cancer is still one of the most dreadful diseases and none of us would like to fall prey to it. At least none of us would like to create causes which might help the monster in finding its way in our body. 
So what do we need to do? How can we keep stress out of life? Sounds kind of impossible! Right? With so much of insecurity all around us and so many pressures like finance, relations, career, health the list is endless; one is bound to get stressed. One way of course can be to go for medication but then it will have its own side effects and ultimately one would end up increasing his share of suffering. This reactive approach is seldom of much use in the long run. But the irony is that majority of us often try to fight stress once it attacks us. It rather better to be proactive and overpower stress rather than allowing stress to intimidate us.
The question is; is there something that can really be done about it? Something which will actually help to eradicate the root cause and something which is realistic too. Well, fortunately there is a lot that can be done to control how and how much is stress manifested in life. 
It is so rightly said, “Prevent and prepare, rather than repent and repair!”
If I start writing it now it would really make this blog too long and it might go a little beyond our concentration span.
